04:53 - 11:14 (Chapter 2) reading from my book ….’Hebel’ = Vapor…root of vanity or meaninglessness..this word is repeated 37 times,,,all has become of no worth to Solomon ..even though in chapter 2 he states He purchased whatever possession or experience he desired…Should ECCLESIASTES have been included in the CANON of Scripture? YES! As it is an example to us of how for all men/women at times how negative we can view life. This ‘Meaninglessness of Life ' thinking can drive us to seeking answers to the purpose of Life…..SIGNIFICANCE POINT: Keep Searching for life's answers, turn to God, Trust Him, even in the challenges you face.
11:14 -16:30 this chapter reminded me of Rapper Sean Diddy , how his mansions were invaded…Diddy is the epitome of Nihilism per one Christian Podcaster, real parallel to Solomons views in Ecclesiastes…such a push in our culture in entertainment & Music that NOTHING holds meaning any longer…As Solomon said “Eat, Drink, Live it up & party for tomorrow we die!”....Example of Bezalel in the Old Testament the artist/craftsmen who God inspired to design the interior of The Tabernacle.. This was a great example of meaning, purpose, typology pointing to God’s plan & His nature of Love..Now it is sad because in Music the theme of Love in Music can not be found unless you go back 50-60 years…Culture is seducing us out of hope YET God desires us to know that there is hope in HIM….So may God shake us

My journalistic Thoughts from 10 years ago…Mudslide in OSO Washington ..20 to 100 fatalities with homes wiped out …40 homes swallowed up by fast moving mud …folks never even KNEW what happened & were dead!? This made me realize how fragile life can be & how quickly it can change!...JAMES says life is like a vapor a ‘Hebel’ (breath) This has caused me to Attempt to FACEUP to areas in my life of my own dysfunctions & lack…Where have the past 30 years Gone in my life!?...my life…we go on thinking life will not change…HOWEVER if I’d write this today I’d say,,,you would have had to have been under a rock the past 4 years to NOT SEE the rapid changes that have occurred in our society sadly in many negative ways….BOTTOM LINE: May God wake us up & Shake us up to the precious commodity of TIME…In fact today's events are a WAKEUP CALL!! …THe bridge in Baltimore…we must realize once time is GONE it can never be replaced…PSALM 90 ‘NUMBER Your Days’,,,steward Them wisely…In my life the enemy is attempting to trap me & make me feel I must go to the grave with all my faults, hurts, challenges..no change or resolutions (from 10 years ago)....
