Becoming Young Again in Spirit | A Kingdom Corner Pop-In
Growing older is unavoidable—but growing old in spirit is not.
On a rainy Labor Day weekend, Matt Geib pops in with a brief word of encouragement about changing seasons, inward renewal, and the invitation found in Ephesians 4:23:
“Be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind.”
Fall may appear to be a season of decline. The days grow shorter, the air becomes cooler, and the trees begin releasing their leaves. Yet fall carries its own kind of renewal. Every season has a purpose, and every new season asks us both to release something from the past and receive something for the future.
Sometimes what we must release is not something bad. It may be something good, beautiful, and fruitful whose purpose has simply been completed. Letting go does not mean the former season failed. It may mean that season accomplished exactly what it was meant to accomplish.
In this short Kingdom Corner Pop-In, Matt considers what it means to become young again in the spirit of the mind—to remain teachable, pliable, curious, expectant, and open to whatever God may want to do next.
